Do you give your dog flee/tick medicine?

If so stop. It causes this. I noticed my German Shepherd having what turned out to be seizures and after some reading I took her off the meds and no more seizures.

we had a cat we had to put on Phenobarb due to seizures, he would bolt down the hall and run straight into a wall at times. Lived 19 years. Had another with diabetes, had to give him daily insulin shots, he also lived 19 years.

Had dog that epilepsy that developed when she was 2, we got her on meds and it work well. However ran out during Katrina evacuation, and she had a bad seizure. She survived and live for 15 years.

- your dog will need to use the restroom and want to drink water after a seizure

-talk to your dog when it happening the dog can hear you

-take the meds with you when you evacuate

He’s been having them off and on for almost 2 years. As sad as it is, we’ve figured out the routine to not freak out and talk to him calmly.

We live on a 15-20 foot hill in North La. If we ever have to evacuate the rest of the state is already screwed.
