Why cant someone just stay in the parking lot strapped with a gun to watch this sort of shite? Maybe the owners of the parking lot can hire someone.

Yea, but let’s not so easily arm the problem? The guns sure do make things more problematic. And they aren’t protecting anyone sitting in the parking lot.

The people who feel the need to carry their gun with them as much as possible. This isn't their fault

Lots going from having people at them to simply bring an app to pay surely has contributed. An unfortunate ripple effect off of automation (definitely not implying that is even a top 10 contributor though)

Jordan will be here shortly saying how this was the bad paid lots and it's their fault. City is fine.

That dude is a fricking retard. Draconian will also be here to excuse this as just a national trend

It will never matter what is in the vehicles.

The only problems are the animals who rob the vehicles and the retards who allow it to happen.

Your response makes you one of the latter. It doesn’t matter that a vehicle could have been more difficult to rob or less attractive to steal from. The only person that will ever be culpable is the loser who committed the offense. Until you come to terms with that, you will be completely wrong in this conversation. As long as complacent people like you are the plurality, the problem will get worse.

So you agree that the right answer is to just avoid that shithole altogether, right?

Randoms get shot at on the interstate, there are shootings on fricking Bourbon and Toulouse, rapes in FQ alleyways, an undermanned and depressed PD and a nitwit for mayor. If people can't bring guns to protect themselves on the way in or out the right thing to do would be to just not go there ever and let it die.

Because that person will end up in jail or sued to oblivion if they shot one of the hood rats.

NOPD just announced they would step up patrols around parking at these sporting events. Great job!

They literally do not have the manpower to do so

If you are literally driving in for a game and leaving - leave it at home.

If you are roaming the city and can keep it on you- go for it.

I’m not anti gun ownership. But at some point it’s just providing essentially no safety for you and creating much danger for others if it’s only sitting in your truck for the duration of your visit.

Am I missing any?

Yes.

1. Unplanned donations

2. They have insurance.

3. They're owed reparations anyway.

4. Owners were probably part of America's biggest domestic terror groups anyway, so the perpetrators were just doing their civic duty.

LOL I'm sorry, I don't feel any remorse. You go to New Orleans in 2022 and you have to expect this kind of shite. They should count their lucky stars that they are leaving without a vehicle instead of in a body bag with a bullet in their heads.

“Don’t bring your guns to New Orleans. They will be stolen by the locals. It’s totally reasonable to expect that your car will be burglarized in New Orleans”

Multiple citizens need to bring their tinted window vehicles in the city, turn the engine off and just wait in the back seat. As soon as the window is smashed, you shoot the motherfrickers dead.

It's absolutely providing safety for you on the way in and out of Mogadishu. Roadway shootings are common in Mogadishu relative to most other cities. You need protection on the way in, out and while you are there.
