Here's something I'd love for someone to help me understand.
On one hand progressives think the "Christian-Conservative Right" is this huge threat and the attack and denigrate them anytime they see the chance.
But on the other hand those same progressives will go through astounding mental gymnastics to defend Muslims and explain away even the most heinous crimes they commit day after day.
Can someone explain the logic there for me? Because I sure as hell can't understand it.

Because Christians don't believe folks should be gay. Christians want to help free them. Muslims just wanna kill them. Apparently gays would rather be killed than have someone try to help them?

Every week there's some kind of report that the Americans are much more likely to be the victim of right wing terror attacks than from radical Muslims but we never see that play out.
I don't understand the left sides with a group that is diametrically opposed to everything the left claims they stand for.
