Ah, the good ole days at LSU Gatti's

I remember watching the super bowl one year in Gatti's. My roommate got arrested on our walk back to the dorm. We were talking about a play and he decided to reenact it. He got in a three point stance and smashed into a stop sign right outside Hatcher. The cops were sitting in a car and saw it. He got arrested for Public Intoxication. I nearly got arrested trying to talk them out of taking him off. They told me to leave and I finally did.

I like Gatti's as well, it sucked when the one by campus closed. They have awesome cinnamon rolls as well.

2nd place is the ROTW at the Hawk's Nest

I never tried that at the Hawk's Nest. Use to work in one of the buildings across the street from there and would go there a good bit. I was never really a big fan of the Hawk's Nest. The service and everything was good and it isn't a bad place to go and maybe it was just me, but it seemed like there was a certain taste that you could taste in everything I ever ordered there. I could never put my finger on it, but again, I don't want to talk bad about the place because it was a good place to go that was close to work and the service was always great.. Either way, the point is, if they still serve it I will have to look for it the next time I go.

Johnny's Sweep the Kitchen

I hold Johnny's STK in high regard too. For people that like thinn crust like that, try Campisi's in Dallas.

The original location on Mockingbird and the Lovers Lane location have great pizza. Mockingbird had some marinated crab claws that were up there with Casio's.
