I've got a truck rented and just need a couple of professional movers only for the heavy stuff like couch, dressers, washer and dryer, etc. Only moving a mile so don't want to spend more than a couple of hundred bucks.
Any experiences with good movers in BR?

My friends are in their late fifties and I don't want to send any of them to the hospital

I've used Moving Help in the past for both Dallas and BR.
Gives you a handful of choices with reviews. Generally speaking you get 2 people for 2 hours and it's $150-300 total. You pay the website and you have to provide with movers with a payment code only once they are finished.
Edit: that is for labor only. You provide the truck, boxes, etc
