Cohorts was a big one for a minute at my job. Cringed whenever someone said "we're going to form up with our cohorts to tackle this task"

Had a coworker who was doing great at his job and was about to be promoted Director of QA making well over 6 figures and he just walked away to pour concrete for a living.
