I’d like to to see the 10 seconds before that video. Was the cyclist in the right lane and moved wide to turn right for a split second?

If he can’t make a right turn without having to move over to the left lane to do so, then he doesn’t have any business riding a bicycle.

Do you think any of that matters?

However, even if he was in the right lane and was going wide to make the turn, he very clearly went out of the lane and into the center lane. So either way, this is mostly on the bicyclist.

He entered the left lane and the motorcycle had control and right of way. The bicyclist would have to yield to re enter the right lane. 100% on the bicyclist.

Absolutely it matters. He essentially had control of that right lane IF he was there and “as I said” went over the line for a split second. No wonder plaintiff lawyers feed so well with all the other idiots commenting. Hell, the guy could have signaled a right turn just before the video starts. Seems conveniently edited.

If you ride a bicycle on a street, you’re a bigger idiot than a motorcyclist. Both you dumbasses don’t understand how dumb and distracted car drivers are.

I’m almost 63 and I’ve been riding bicycles on streets my whole life, and people all over the world do it. I would not ride one on many highways for the reasons you give, but to this day I ride my bike all over Old Metairie often with a one, or two, year old in a bike seat.
