3. Ride it for the next 3 years on every dirt road and trail you can find.
4. If you still are having fun, buy a dual sport bike and start exploring some <50 mph highways. Do this for 5 years.
5. Consider buying a larger bike and have fun.
This might be the most pussified thing I've ever read on the internet.

Yeah and don't buy a gun cause you might put the wrong end against your shoulder . I live on one of the most scenic highways in the US. FM 1431 outside Austin .It's a beautiful ride down to Kerrville , Medina , Hondo , Vanderpool ,etc . Plenty of places to pull over on the Guadalupe River and swim . Always a good BBQ shack to eat . Don't let people talk you out of life awesome experiences.

I couldn't imagine having a street bike without ever owning a dirt bike. The off road experience (racing mx or being in the woods, catching air, close calls & falls blows away any amount of time I've spent riding on the road. Plus, the riding skills are invaluable.

Any tips you could provide a beginner would be appreciated.
1. Take a Motorcycle Rider Foundation (MRF) Basic Rider Course (or equivalent).
2. Fill out your organ donor information on your license.

If that doesn't shock you, 100% of motorcycle riders will die at some point.
It is true that riding a motorcycle doesn't make you immortal.

They also don't brush their teeth, try that too since you want to be like them.
