I think a lot of you are missing the point that the lawsuit is based on separate rules for the boys and girls teams, not simply because he didn’t make the squad.

Which, according to her own admission, is not the case nor is it absolute proof of discrimination.

girls had less kids try out and there were spots available for juniors to stay on jv.

that's it right there, I was a walk on at LSU, busting my arse out there everyday, treated like shite by the scholarship guys, and some coaches, thinking if I keep busting it I'll get my chance, it finally dawned on me, that would never happen, I was just good enough to stick around as fodder so that there would be a full squad for the real studs to beat the shite out of on a daily basis

yeah, good friend of mine, he's probably in a few slow pitch softball HoFs too, he played professionally for years, used to hit about 300+ homers a year, as a leadoff man

ETA: northeast? triggered!!!!

But we know that athletes, or kids that are involved in extra curricular activities perform better in school. That's a fact.

Nothing stops kids who are cut from a sport from doing other things. Learning how to deal with disappointment and adapt is much more important than just letting kids play in the D team at increased expense and workloads for everyone else. It would also decrease the experience of the kids who actually make the team.

People aren’t equal in all things. Teaching teenagers this is a positive thing.
