It's all over rated. None are very prestigious. I rode in the Crew of Columbus in Mobile for 9 years, Bacchus for 2, Olympia in Covington for 10, and Endymion this will be 18. All have there good points and bad. New Orleans Mardi Gras >>>>>> Mobile. I continue to ride in Endymion because it's a reunion with some friends once a year. Some one loads the float we have an all day pregame then ride. Honestly if I left have the preside party it would be fine

Any Krewe that claims that it is Mystic. The only way you find out is to check the paper. If it lists the Queen and Maids, but not the King and it is an all male organization, then it's Old Line.
If you want to have a blast, though, Tucks and Thoth are your best bets

It is, aint no schmucks in that parade.
ETA; Ive been invited to ride and Endymion, anyone can pay $2000 and ride in Orpheus. I know a couple baws from Houma that ride in Zulu.
