Providence is a big time mob town. I'd say West Virginia, the Dakotas, or one of those Midwestern shite holes. Mississippi is pretty worthless as well.

Mississippi is a horrible place to live but any research of American culture, particularly music and the arts will tell you Mississippi is far from worthless. It's at the top of contributions. Adversity breeds success.

I live in Little Rock now, after living in Baton Rouge for 14 years. Their food may not be as good, but that’s why my dad taught me to cook like a Louisianan. However, it’s not a crime ridden shite hole with horrific, disgusting traffic

I like Arkansas but there isn't much difference in demographics and crime between Little Rock and BR

I'm actually going to amend my answer to Vermont.

Outside of maple syrup and Phish, not much going on.

It has the lowest GDP of any state, no real culture or sports, and nothing notable in hunting or fishing. It does have some outdoor worth, but really nothing you won't find in the Finger lakes, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Only thing I know is commercial fishing and beer and it's a pretty state.

BR has LSU so that will put it above LR no matter what. The bonus for BR is it’s proximity to Nola. The extra bonus is it’s proximity to Houston & the AL/FL beaches.

What does LR have to offer that can be close to that? Proximity to Memphis? LOL

Why do people keep saying North Dakota. Doesn't their oil production make them relevant?

You're completely retarded if you believe anyone thinks of MS when talking bass fishing. Of the southern states it is at the very bottom Of public fishing.

MS is the least populated southern state you dipshit. Any moron that would say bass fishing isn't good here has never been here. It's great throughout the state, always has been. MS is known for hunting and fishing and that includes bass fishing.

This is probably the correct answer.

Vermont ranks 49th in population, 50th in GDP, 48th in tourism and they have very little agricultural or industrial production. They are also landlocked.

But "relevancy" is a highly subjective concept. When people think of Vermont, they picture an LL Bean catalog or some happy hipster couple sipping organic fair trade coffee while sitting on the a quaint Bed & Breakfast porch overlooking the fall foliage.

The answer is a tie between kansas and nebraska

At least the land starts to get interesting in the dakotas.
