I don’t see any strong storms in long range forecast. Do you have a link?

There's our eastern ridge showing its self. The low tracks on the GFS crazy posted are a replay of February.

Yea, that looks bad. If that verifies, this thread is exploding in two or three weeks.

It would be very interesting to see what happens with the ORCS if all that repeat rain verifies.

The total qpf up to March 17 didn't look overly terrible. 2-3 inches in the Tennessee Valley, 1-2 in the Ohio Valley, and less than that in the upper Mississippi.

Over what has already fallen recently that is borderline enough to cause more issues.

Yea but if it warms up and the snow starts melting it will be quite worse

Record snow in the Rockies this year. Though most of that flows west of continental divide

Maybe locally. But 3" over 2+ weeks isn't that bad. It's not that large of an area considering the size of the Mississippi watershed. We're still talking minimal inflow from the Missouri and upper Mississippi, assuming it stays cold.

Temps look cold for the next couple weeks, but yeah April could be bad if snow melt is in phase with more TN/OH valley rain.
