The problem is Debbie didn't transition early enough. She should have had started taking estrogen blockers at the age of 5.

The good thing is, parents are starting to have this discussion with their kids early so they know what gender is truly fit for them and start taking the proper hormone blockers/injections.

So many of these people who transition are messed up. They have problems. Of various types. Most are outcasts. So they go online to online communities full of other people like them who have problems and are outcasts. In these communities, victimhood is currency. The more of a "victim" you are, the higher your status in these groups.

Many of them go to places like /r/asktransgender and other transgender communities and see these whitewashed testimonials of how great transitioning was and how awesome it is and how happy they are.

So these disturbed individuals all of a sudden convince themselves the reason they have so many problems and issues is because they were born the wrong gender. That has to be it! That is why I am an outcast, why I have so many problems, why my life has been a failure to this point.

So they transition, and guess what? They still have the same problems and issues. Transitioning didn't solve their internal problems, or their mental problems. They still have the same issues, only now they fricked up their body and sterilized themselves. Not only do their problems remain, but they are now a target for ridicule and mockery.

They thought transitioning would end their problems and turn their life around, and it didn't. With no way to undo it, suicide.
