100 years ago 14 year olds were having baby's and raising families

This is frickinf insane if she goes to jail.

14 is more than old enough. You're going for destroy that family if you do this

Why the hell can't a 14 yo babysit their siblings? Side note- I would be afraid to touch her out of fear of her popping out another one gremlin style.

I can't believe a police officer made an arrest. If one of my sergeants told me his deputy was going to make an arrest under these circumstances, we would have a very pointed and one-sided conversation.

My oldest sibling oversaw three younger siblings and a younger cousin all summer from around 13 yoa. This could have been my mom.

Trying to be objective, I suppose it depends on the maturity of the teenager to determine if appropriate or not.
Personally, we let our 13 year old daughter babysit her 5 year old son many times.

Wow, what a bitch move, the neighbor calling police. Instead of helping out, or talking to the Mom.... She calls police. Smh
