It's really fricking ironic that when you peel back the layer of shite everything that has happened so far has ultimately been traced back to a black guy. Not to mention that the only confirmed racist remarks have come not from racist old whitey, but from a person of color.

It appears, based on context clues, that there were. And further, it appears that the RA (I think) thought that it might have been directed at those students as the suspect had made Anti-Semitic statements towards them.
And it further appears (for the 9th time), that the suspect was in fact a Person of Color.
