I was visiting my parents at the farm and I brought my Aussie. Both of my parents were late 80's at the time. Their bedroom was at one end of the house and the kitchen was at the other.

I'm fixing lunch and my dog comes in and starts biting my hand. She gets more aggressive about it and more animated. I finally decide to go check on my parents. My mom started to tall, and my dad grabbed her so she would not fall. Dad was hanging on for dear life, and he never would have let go of my mom (career Marine, WWII, Korean and Vietnam vet).

Dog kept my parents from being seriously injured.

I’m just happy to see one of these stories. Have a happy ending for once, and not end with the body being found.

Thank goodness the pets weren’t the breed of peace
