Nissan Quest.

With three kids any trip over 30 minutes and that thing is worth every beautiful goofy boxy looking square inch.

Minivans are awesome for comfort and versatility. I have owned 2 but do not own one now. If people would get over the stupid stigma they would find they are great for many things.

Owning a van is a status symbol in Africa.

My buddies (2 brothers) had one in high school. We would pile up way too many people in that thing and ride around town, go to parties together, etc. It was our "War Machine" for Jr/Sr paint ball war during Homecoming Week, too. Stop, throw the sliding door open, unload paintballs at classmates, drive off. Good times.

I've never owned one but, I will attest that your average mid sized SUV is pretty much useless. My wife has had about a half dozen of them and I've hated every one of them. I would much prefer a minivan.

My wife used to have a Honda Odyssey. I hated driving it around town, but it was invaluable on road trips or if I needed to haul something. I miss it and half-jokingly say I'm going to get one when its time to replace my car.

We average about 22-24 in the city. 28-29 on the highway
