“Very few have”. Lol and i mean, lol. Very few……like tens of millions. I have and most of the people i know have. If you included the entire world then we’d probably cross into 100s of millions of people that have gone through a Cat 3 storm. I bet its a lot harder for people in coastal asian countries to evacuate. Thats why they always have a high number of deaths.
It certainly seems like you’re the idiot in this situation. Im not saying the media should have downplayed it, but Milton was certainly treated by many as some kind of unprecedented storm when that is certainly not the case. I will say that this many strong storms in September is strange but Milton was certainly not a storm that had never been seen before. Look up Hurricane Camille. It was a very small storm like milton (before Milton cannibalized the large patch of storms in its path) and made landfall in MS at 185mph. Small storms can strengthen very quickly.

Can some OT sleuth find out where white beans is so we can task the user closest to go over and give him a goddamned swirlie?

Because nuance is important, it would have been unprecedented had it hit Tampa head on. And it was damn close to doing so.
It made landfall in Siesta Key. That's dangerously close to an area that would have seen significant damage even with a Cat 3.

No disrespect, but cmon man, you can’t say anything about this storm that just hit Florida. Just like we in Louisiana don’t want people shitting on us about Katrina.

Where did the tornado come from?

I’m talking about the fake news, not the hurricane itself dude. Go on believing everything you see on the weather channel.
I’ve already said this on repeat
Would you like to discuss the topic at hand or would you rather slide off into logical fallacy?

From the cat 2 hurricane Milton
Or “Storm of the Century” as the media and president has put it, in attempt to take all eyes off the catastrophic state of lower Appalachia and this fricking horrible administration’s failures in dealing with it.
