*partially college educated with no experience

If it was a good wage you wouldn't have reliability issues.

And how do you plan to make that happen without raising the cost of literally everything, making those not able to currently support themselves still not able to support themselves?

If you are competent, you wouldn't be getting fricked for long.

If you're taking an hour and a half lunch break to smoke weed then do a half arse job when you do show up then you get what you deserve.

*this is not an argument against weed, I think it should be legal.

you think you're entitled.

Dude, what kind of money do you think you're "entitled" to? People have done what they had to do to get by forever. You think this is new?

All I thought about is how can I pay my rent and eat for This month......That's still how I think....If I can get a few months ahead.....Yay....But yeah.....As you get older you get more ahead. If you need more security go hide under your momma's blanket.

No no, baby boomers had a house, a car and a boat by the time they were 20.

My parents, on the otherhand lived in a mobile home, then shared a house with another family before buying a house when they were in their 30's. My dad was an engineer.

Yeah friend of mines dad was an engineer and they had a 1200 Sq ft wooden home, and used cars. All of our dad's worked on the cars, no one paid an auto shop.

Most dad worked a boatload of overtime so we could afford our 2 br. 1000 Sq foot home for 5 ppl.

with a degree most feel they're entitled to a job that can pay for the basic bills.. 1 bedroom apartment, car payment, phone bill, internet, insurance, food, utilities, student loan, internet.

$1,000 apartment
$125 utilities
$250 car payment
$125 student loan
$65 phone
$50 internet
$150 insurances
$250 food
Total ($2,015) before 401k, recreation, etc.

Get a job paying $35k requiring a degree and 2-3 years of experience.. bring home ~$2,450/month. So before 401k, recreation, any other debts, car repairs/doctor visits/medical shite, or general life things that cost money... $435/month to work with. It's doable but more often than not you sacrifice to pay bills. If you want to pay your student loans off in less than 10 years.. forget about it

One of the main reasons millennials stay at home and so frequently split rent into their 30's. It does get better, though. Especially for those that work hard. There's just an obscenely high barrier to entry right out of the gate.
