here's a good example of why we pile on millennials...
This fine contributor to society lives in a storage unit
-steals electricity (although I guess it's part of his "rent")
-has a brand new 4K TV
-internet
-surround sound
here's his how-to-video on how to live out of a Honda Civic
this is why we hate your generation. This isnt ingenuity or cleverness, it's fricking retarded

I had just came back from hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and found myself homeless. I had given up my apartment to go hike and now that I was back I wanted to turn my car into a livable space. but found I still needed access to lots of stuff from my storage unit which was 6x4x10 and everything was just jammed in there. I figured there had to be a better way. I scoped out a 10x10x6 unit and moved all my stuff inside. Still super small, I managed to build shelves and organize it in a way where everything is accessible. But why stop there! I decided to build shelves and a water system and setup my actual apartment so I could live there. I was moving in! I ended up living in the unit for around 2 months. I only spent around $100 making the space as efficient as I did, mostly because I already owned so much hardware. The cost of rent on my unit was $205 a month (which included insurance). A bargain, considering an apartment in the area was $1000+ a month. I made this video showcasing my work/unit.

Millennial shouldn't have voted for Obama and dumb arse democrats to build jobs.

That's actually pretty incredible considering how many of them are graduating college with tens of thousands of dollars in student loan debt.
Wow, maybe they should be blaming higher ed for making them rack up debt while getting shite degrees. Maybe they shouldn't even consider college and look to getting a trade. There are no guarantees. Start wherever you can, work hard, and try to progress. It's not hard to understand.

Yeah HR is a cockblock today. Used to be a little personality and a fabricated application could get you anywhere. But we're all dealing with that.

Even if wages were exactly equal boomers didn't have to pay:
You really didn't post all that crap did you?
How many generations survived 'quite well' without any of those things. Just because mass marketing goads you into paying for all that entertainment, doesn't mean you need to stay in debt to have it
I could own the home that I do, or live off credit cards in order to have a Manhattan apt. Guess what? Its not that important to me. The biggest part of financial security is eliminating needless recurring expenses

Cell phone bill
Cable bill
Internet bill
Massive car insurance
Health insurance
Etc....
On top of that general costs of goods and living has increased as well.
Also, companies invested in their employees. Now a company demands you have years of experience for entry level jobs.
It's a different world that's not even comparable.

Whites still earn dramatically more than Blacks and Latinos, reflecting the legacy of discrimination for jobs, education and housing.
lazy thinking, is complete and utter bullshite
When whites have something positive where they do better there is an excuse for it. When minorities (mostly blacks) perform horribly on some negative stat there is an excuse for them.

That's why they want more government and handouts.

Millennial here. Work 2 "day" jobs and am a professional touring musician recording an album and paying for marketing/design and pressing. A start up business if you will.Everybody my age that i know also works at least 2 jobs and can barely make rent each month much less anything else. I'm not saying our generation is perfect or better than anyone, but people have to understand that certain problems are unique. Yall can suck it tho.

My handyman made almost 100k last year and barely graduated high school.
Learn a fricking trade.

Millennial here as well.
Late 20's with household income of 170k. It's a decent living but nothing special due to having 200k in student loans. Paycheck goes right out the window back to the government in the form of student loan interest and taxes (which I get no breaks for since we are considered high income earners).
Busted our asses in school getting advanced degrees but to be honest our friends that learned a trade have way more discretionary income.

Completely agree. The lies perpetuated by the educational industrial complex are as nefarious as anything spun by big pharma, Ponzi schemes, or corrupt military contractors. I don't know why there isn't more outrage.

You're shitting on him for what? If he paid the utilities and Internet why the frick would anyone care?
If anything it's just a fantastic example of how the development lobby owns cities and states nation wide and stomps out cheaper competing alternatives.
Should be praising him if anything.

First off, an average doesn't have to define you personally.
Secondly, if you don't start with work at a big company you have a couple of other paths. You can start at a smaller firm to build up that resume and move on. That's what I did - my first job out of school was at a company with a total of five employees. I was the only one who wasn't a family member. Worked there three years, moved on to a larger startup that quickly went bust, then moved on to a billion dollar company.
Lastly, there's nothing stopping anyone from starting his own business.

This. There used to be lignite coal-burning power plants all over Texas and Louisiana with VERY well-paying jobs that could send multiple kids to college.
That was killed DIRECTLY by Democrats.

Yeah except for stagflation, several recessions, high unemployment periods and gas rationing.
For those coming of age in the mid 70s to mid 80s those jobs weren't there.
I understand that, but they were on the cusp of one of the greatest booms since WWII, they just didn't know it yet.
I'm sure a 20 year old in 1980 thought the world sucked, but things were about to turn up in a very big way. Things suck today for 20 year olds, and hopefully they get the same economic opportunity that their parents were afforded in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
