No you have to do one enlistment as a weatherman first I believe then you can apply for the special duty, then get dropped into CCT teams and all, but it’s not a permanent gig.

I dropped to the IRR in June, those sorry bastards had a fun trip to Bridgeport this summer. So glad I missed it. frick hiking up those mountains.
