Was working out this morning and in the middle of a set my head just started killing me and I felt nautious. Worst headache I’ve ever experienced and I’ve had migraines before so I’m familiar with a bad headache. Does anyone have any experience with this? I’ve taken 4 extra strength aleive and that didn’t do a damn thing.

if it is an unusual experience and intense, it warrants an ER visit.....

ETA: I have gotten workout headaches before. I quit and go home. They usually resolve on their own in about 1-2 hours.

That's just the pre-workout kicking in...

Tumor.

Seriously if you don’t feel right go to the doctor. At the very least you will get some bill that is nonsensical and unitemized for no treatment and you can have a good laugh at it.

THIS RIGHT HERE means go straight to the ER and do not pass Go. Tell the doc that phrase and get a CT scan. It could be nothing or it could be a brain bleed. Nothing ='s you spend a bit on your insurance deductible and curse my advice. Brain bleed ='s you get to live another day.

I am not joking around, you should go straight to the ER.

From the Brain Aneurysm Foundation website:

Ruptured brain aneurysms usually result in a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), which is defined as bleeding into the subarachnoid space. When blood escapes into the space around the brain, it can cause sudden symptoms.

Seek Medical Attention Immediately If You Are Experiencing Some Or All Of These Symptoms:

Sudden severe headache, the worst headache of your life
Loss of consciousness
Nausea/Vomiting
Stiff Neck
Sudden blurred or double vision
Sudden pain above/behind the eye or difficulty seeing
Sudden change in mental status/awareness
Sudden trouble walking or dizziness
Sudden weakness and numbness
Sensitivity to light (photophobia)
Seizure
Drooping eyelid

Stiff neck? It could be menegitis. Severe headaches out of nowhere are reason for concern.

Could be a blood pressure issue
Possibly dehydration
Could be something more serious. Go see a doctor

Could be him not breathing properly (i.e. holding his breath) and spiking his BP.

But, like Gleason said, it could be a bleed based upon the intensity comment. no room to frick around.

Yeah, but it's not really "out of nowhere". He was working out, which increases heart rate, blood pressure, and ICP.
