Meteor seen in Baton Rouge to the east. Great light show...

Anyone just see the large meteor to the east in Baton Rouge. Very slow moving...

Slow, compared to most I've seen... but yeah it was probably going pretty fast..

Well I just noticed it's the Lyrids meteor shower time... guess that's what it was.

Actually, shooting stars typically are really fast moving....but I have seen a couple of much larger meteors burn up in our atmosphere that looked much lower and slower. pretty cool to see that kind of thing, as you generally remember it for the rest of your life.
