I don't live in the area, but I was riding by North park and I saw signs for Messenger Christmas parking. Did they move it out of the neighborhood or is that a place where they shuttle people back and forth.
I can't imagine the other people that live in that neighborhood being okay with that circus.
I remember being a small kid and going. Back when they lived in Red Oaks. Went about 4 years ago, I couldn't believe they had pretty much the same stuff from 30+ years ago. it was awesome.

Yeah i went the other nite, you park at north park and walk over to the house where its at... my first time i've been. Was not impressed, its a few old makeshift christmas gadgets with a few light and what knots.

The family, that carried on the tradition, used to live in Plantation Estates in Denham. They moved out of state, from what I remember. I believe that is on of the sons who now host that event, over by North Park. The wiffle ball field that was next door, is no more. They sold the lot and a new house has been built.

How does the current version compare to the version from back in the day off of N. Sherwood Forest?

I wasn't, made a FB post years ago making fun of it, and was attacked with the quickness. So glad to be out of LP.
