Some of us (me) would prefer to be alone than deal with dysfunction.

Friendsgiving and christmas eve for the past five or six years have been the best holiday celebrations we have had.

Due to conflict with certain family members I'm choosing to take myself out of the equation. I'll be spending Christmas alone. I really hope that they have a wonderful Christmas though.

I've only spent 1 Christmas away from family. It sucked until I found the bar where everyone else who was alone congregated. I turned out to be a great holiday after all.
