I hope we never have a major war or draft ever again. Can you imagine the deferments trying to be had.

So far we have 235 downvoters. Likely with fake mental health issues and stories to tell.

ETA: Weak minded pussies.

This is y'all (taken from the fail gifs thread):

That’s your retort?

What would you say if she did do her interview and completely lost her shite??

Crying, cursing, threw a water bottle, spewed some verbal excrement that doesn’t jive with your politics or actually DID play the race card? She’s half black and Asian, no?

If it became a pattern for her maybe I’d back you more. Otherwise? Nah. Some people are self aware and know when they shouldn’t have cameras in their face.

It isn't fcuking stupid because it is a drain on our economy because of absentism. it fcuks people up. people die. a happy person is a productive person.

your inability to think not just macro, but also micro shows your ignorance. Which is also a drain on society.

do better, try harder, know more

This is not why though.

Any war/enemy large enough to need a draft? I think nukes would be flying

Part of the reason people have some of these major anxiety issues is because everyone carries around a phone and has access to anything all the time. Anything also has access to the person with the phone. I miss the times where we could truly get away if we need it.

And constantly reading/hearing about all the bad shite going on in the world. Hell on this site there's a post just about every day about someone torturing a dog or an infant getting beaten/abused or some other grotesque event.

Ha Ha Ha. Sounds like what the US Army decided to say and do when they introduced their "positive psychology" and paid millions to some hacks to force it on the troops instead of honestly acknowledging the reality of war and soldiering.

Because I’ve long been interested in psychology, have worked in group homes where I’ve counseled kids/young adults, and it’s a worthwhile profession to me? But I’m a therapist and not a psychiatrist so I work from a wellness model versus a medical model. It depends less on medication and more on other alternatives for treatment.

Why do you do what you do? And what makes you qualified to critique the profession we’re discussing?

Didn’t want to get interviewed and said she’d pay the fine, then faced backlash for not wanting to do her interview (which is part of her fricking job) so she just quits the French open and cites “mental health” as the issue.

What if she actually does have mental health issues, though? Maybe she is faking it, I don't know the girl in real life, neither do you. We don't know what people are going through.

Just mind your business and live your own life. So why are you getting so bent out of shape that someone decided they didn't want to do a freaking interview. Did you get fired from your job because she didn't do the interview or something?

Didn’t say it did dumbass!!

Don’t know what she has. Do manic people? Do people having a psychotic break? Bipolar/Schizophrenics? BPD people? People with any disorder causing them to be hyper verbal or have flight of ideas? The answer is yes, they can, and sometimes do.

Found the wannabe hardass that’ll brag about not missing a day of work in his life but his quality of life is shite in retirement because he worked himself to death.
