Menendez Brothers & Menudo Documentary

On May 2nd Peacock is putting out a 3 part Documentary on the Menendez Father raping a member of Menudo with he was 14.

I didn't follow the case when it happened but I have seen a few specials about the case. The first trial was a hung jury...OJ happened...the Judge changed the rules (no camera in the court room and no mention of the sexual abuse by the father...not to mention 1st degree murder only no Manslaughter option).
If they would have had this one Menudo kid testify that he was raped by the dad in the 1st trial I think they get acquitted.
I've always believed them and that their father was a controlling perv. I hope they get a pardon after this...they have done 30 years.

They killed the mom too, That is the nail in their coffin.

I would imagine your perspective on this is different than most but, iirc, and I posted this in the other thread, the story in the public during that trial was that the alleged abuse was from years ago and not much evidence produced to corroborate it, the "kids" were young men, one was bald, their attorney had them wear preppy clothes, makeup, and the bald one a wig to try and make them look like youthful kids trapped in an abusive environment where there was no escape, but supposedly the real motive was that mom and dad were about to cut off funding of their expensive lifestyles and they were furious about that

The real motive was wealth/life insurance. Killed both parents. This wasn't a situation like your sensei if that's the angle you're alluding to.

That's why I think if the Menudo kid corroborated that the father was a sexual predator...they get off or get Manslaughter during the 1st trial.
Not to mention the group Menudo. Those poor boys. Hindsight is 20/20 and Menudo was a hebephiles dream. They start them at 13 years old...when they turned 16 they were gone and replaced with a new 13 year old.
I would not be surprised if every member of Menudo was molested...either way I think it is going to be a compelling Documentary.

I don't believe that...not for one minute. Their father was an abuse a-hole control freak and the mom was an alcoholic pill popper who turned a blind eye to the abuse.
The fact that the older brother "acted out" on the younger brother is a huge red flag for incest or sexual abuse.

It's a weird pet peeve of mine...when a hot female teacher gets in trouble for banging a 17 year old student and people start calling her a pedophile it really annoys me.

Both could be true. The father could have been an absolute monster while the mom turned a blind eye and part of their motive could've also involved money.
