Watched the Dead play two nights here back in 95. Strange venue for a Dead show. Even stranger for a Bass Pro Shop.

Johnny Morris does not do things half-assed.

For everyone who isn't familiar with the images that Aux Arc posted, that is Top of the Rock, a state of the art Par 3 golf course at Table Rock Lake in Southwest Missouri. The Legends of Golf tournament has been held there the past 2 years and I believe they are under contract for a few more.
Our family condo is just a few miles from Table Rock's Top of the Rock. We go there often.
I can say with absolute certainty that Top of the Rock (and Big Cedar Lodge by extension) is the most beautiful area of Missouri as well as the Midwest/Midsouth.
Period.
We love Johnny Morris and Southwest Missouri.
