What is your opinion of this day? Do you look at it as honoring the fallen soldiers or as memory of any one who has passed?

90% of us look at it as a day to get drunk and do something outside

It’s a day to recognize men and women who died in service of the US. Most people just view it as a day to party. I’ll be honest about it, though. I don’t do anything in particular to pay homage to them. Not that I don’t care or don’t recognize it, but how do you pay someone back for something like that besides do your best to be a decent person everyday?

I'd like to make a toast to the troops. All the troops. Both sides.

Yeah hard to really pay back someone who gave their life for your freedom. Thats the ultimate price.

I am part of a CrossFit gym. We annually do a workout called Murph. I do that and usually grill some food

Today's representation of those things:

I should add that it's a tradition for one guy to carry the flag and he was not there so some of us took the mantle

Getting the grill ready

I am fortunate enough to not have any immediate family members killed in the line of duty but plenty of family I am thankful that they are still here after their service.
