More fun in the sunshine, more swimming and rides...

It was seriously bad. That was when the drinking age was still 18 and my friend's mom had to help out a girl who's friends left her- she had alcohol poisining.

We also saw all kinds of kids getting it on.

I learned a lot that day in 1987...

The Happy Note

Best bar in the history of civilization. I used to sneak out of my student job in the Agricultural Engineering department and toss back a few with the alcoholics in the middle of the day on Florida Blvd. I can almost smell the cigarette smoke and the sweet whiskey and hear Patsy Cline in the background.

Is Koto of Japan still around? We used to go there during High School and get snookered. The owners of that place would serve anyone alcohol.

The Zombie would knock you on your arse. Another nice drink was the Fog Cutter from the Chinese Inn on Airline near the Woman's Hospital.

Candy!

She was one mean bitch. Could be from all the shite she had to take.

When I was 15 I worked at Blue Bayou, they would not let us throw out the old rotten produce. They brought it to Candy at Fun Fair park to eat.

That thing also had a cigarette habit, I seem to remember it escaping and messing some stuff up on Airline.

THE ORIGINAL Tabby's Blues Box on North!!! In high school through college we would go on Thurdsdays for the $5 all you can drink beer and get blasted listening to awesome music. That place felt like the blues.

That is what is was called. Where the GAP is now. Don't know when people started calling it Death Valley, sometime in the early 1990s.
