I would just like to point out, the nutless wonders of politicians we have nowadays could’ve told them to frick off but they acquiesced to their irrational, ridiculous, and baseless “mandates.”

The CDC did better when the director was not a political appointee. Even then it is a tough row to hoe because huge decisions have to be made well in advance of full data sets and usually on the basis prediction models. I love how we all like to demolish anyone or any entity that has dared to possibly be wrong when making massive decisions. So many people on here must not get to experience the joy of making tough decisions for others and getting to live with all the consequences. Y’all are leading privileged lives no doubt, likely in part because someone was at one point willing to risk it all to make a decision that directly impacted you without you ever knowing. Humanity deserves everything it ever gets.

Maybe for the first two months in 2020, not for two years. She has the look of someone that gets off on having authority/making decisions that effect other people. Anyone with power during that time that went along with the BS for personal or political reasons can get fricked. How many places around the country shut down parks, beaches, pretty much anything outside? Stay inside with zero sunlight, watch tv and eat takeout all on the taxpayer’s dime. A lot of people in power back then either actually believed the nonsense or lacked the balls to actually say something for fear of losing power.
