Let's take a look at your post that I originally responded to and see what you did or didn;t imply.

I'm always amazed at people who will accept the fact that a weatherman can't accurately tell me what the weather will be tomorrow but will readily believe a climatologist who claims to be able to predict the weather generations from now.![]()
It's not difficult to look at historical trends.
To me, that sure looks like you saying because we can look at historical trends, we should trust these climatologists' predictions.

....and the global warming industry defends their position on a day when many of us are experiencing extreme weather.
That amuses me
Maybe the dumbest shite I've ever read
Let me guess, you're a wall builder?

Al Gore was the worst thing to ever happen in regards to global warming and you will find many scientists will agree with that statement.

As evidenced by threads like this.
It's a little NPCish how people jerk off to every little thing trump does.

Put 2 people in a room at a comfortable temp. Add 100 more to the same room and don't adjust the thermostat. Now have them run in place and smoke. I don't need core samples to know it's going to heat up.
Soooo what you are saying is that we as a world should be focusing on building this kind of technology together, to slowly suck out all the hot air into space, instead of trying to focus on all the scare tactics???

The same people are right. More extreme weather events (including the arctic conditions) is an effect of climate change. That's the point that soars over your and our president's head.
I'll also take this opportunity to point out that our president is a fricking moron.

What do these people actually expect us to do as individuals about global warming? There are countries with billions of people that are fricking this place up way more than we ever could.
The global warming industry is meant to be a means of wealth transfer from rich to poor countries and, in the process, allow certain peoples to siphon off for their own enrichment. Actual believers are just pawns.

that is such a dumb take
there isn't a single thing or idea in history in which people haven't tried to make money off of

God forbid the president's words on global issues should be of consequence, good or bad.

Obviously China is the top dog in all of this (and by a lot), but the US is still either 2nd or 3rd in emissions, depending on how you measure
I'm not saying we shouldn't still try to improve things here. I'm just saying we could destroy our economy to cut emissions further...and it wouldn't matter, because we aren't the problem. Not to mention the amount of trash and other pollutants being dumped in to the ocean by Asia
While we dont hold countries like china to the same standards we are letting the Gore's of the country hold us to.
The hypocrisy baffles me

I do trust the predictions based on these trends.
I don't trust many of the causation discussions, but his original quote has nothing to do with causation. He was questioning how they're able to even make a prediction. That's where the disconnect seems to be.
Also, it should be noted that it's easier to predict long term than it is to predict in the short term for some things. I'd liken climate predictions to the S&P 500 over 10+ years, but weather predictions are like trying to pin point a single stock move on a daily basis.

What?
Find me a single global warming advocate that doesn't think China should be held accountable.
