The board of health in Knox County, Tennessee — home of Knoxville and the University of Tennessee flagship — voted Wednesday to mandate masks for anyone inside certain buildings.

The vote was one shy of being unanimous, but that dissenter, Mayor Glenn Jacobs, raised plenty of eyebrows.

Though he ran as a Republican (that part of TN is heavily so) he is actually Libertarian in his political views.

I'm glad he voted against... even if he was the only one. He'll have my vote next time around.

And yes he's a pretty staunch Libertarian. He was against shutting down at all.

Wisdom is something you'll never grasp. You're. A trained chimp repeating what you hear. Feminine and stupid arent a good combo for a guy.

You rarely understand the things you say. No one else does either. It's the estrogen.

He's pretty well liked, overall, from what I can tell.

Alcohol actually depresses testosterone and increases estrogen in men so based on your long history with it, you are much more likely to have more estrogen than me.
