Curfew or not. I'm going to B Quick and get a Diet Coke.

The question isn't who is gonna let me, it's who is gonna stop me?

And no one is going to bother you most likely.

Are you even in an affected area?

That's not Jimmy Buffett. It's Rupert Holmes.

With Kip on this. Shutting down BR isn't the answer. He is right about this.

What's your solution to shut down the thugs and miscreants then? Just let them run wild?

Other than 8 arrested earlier today have there been thugs running wild? One would think the highest concentration of police would be in the affected areas. The argument for shutting down the whole parish is still not very strong.

They run wild everyday. Most of them are useless and breathing good air hogs could be breathing.

I don't agree with a parish wide curfew but i think one in the affected areas is prudent.

Too tired to argue. Hope y'all are safe. Long day tomorrow

Activate more national guard troops and have them actively patrol the entire shite show if the cops can't handle both roles. I'm not sure why we've been so hesitant to deploy more LA national guard or bring in some from Mississippi or Texas. I'd have 5k boots on the ground assisting in cleaning up, patrol and peace keeping.

We can just get the UN to send some troops to police our streets That would be even better. Then we won't need all those evil assault rifles.

Martial Law. Why not. 'Good guys' can get through. It'll only affect the bad ones anyway.

It would be peachy to host foreign troops in the houses that weren't flooded. Demented can host about 4-5.

A curfew is the same thing as taking away 2nd amendment rights. The people looking to do harm will still be out past curfew and the people that want to use guns maliciously will still get their hands on them.

In the past the curfews have been , if you are out and about after curfew you better be going to and from work and such. No lotering, window shopping, and such shite.
