So my daughter and I are at the medical lab doing blood work for her. She has CF and has a yearly glucose tolerance test.
Two police officers come in with a prisoner to get blood work (Unknown reason). The receptionist ask him if he has "been out of the country the last 30 days." His answer- predictably..."No I have been here in jail".
It was funny but predictable response.

That's great. My cousin lived until his mid 30's and actually got married and had twin boys before passing last year. He spent a lot of time between laffy and Houston so she may have even known him

The anecdote and the mention of CF both made me smile. Notably because you were both able to share that funny experience together and help break up what can be a tedious process. To continuing good health for you both.
