I had a decent experience with Bowers Ford buying a pre-owned F150. Discovered an issue I knew they had no real way of knowing about a week after I bought it. They took it, gave me a loaner, and had my truck back in 3 days.
Despite that, I still never use a dealership for repairs. For me most issues come up after the warranty anyway. Have a good mechanic.

They do not answer my calls after dropping off my Silverado.
You’re not getting any younger.

Matt Bowers CDJR tried to rip me off buying a truck years ago.
Negotiated and agreed upon final sale price and down payment, shook hands with the manager, then those scumbags bring the form for you to sign and tried to make a quick pass on me by saying “its what we agreed to, sign here” - only they swapped numbers so the “total to be financed” was the sale price we agreed to. Would have had be paying way over sticker price for the truck. I called them out on it nicely and they went to “correct” it. Salesman comes back and says “no we can’t do that sale price anymore”. I said “the frick you cant, or everyone else in here and the BBB will know y’all are backing out of a handshake agreement after you tried to scam me”. Sent that salesman scurrying back and finally got the correct sheet on what we agreed to and looking all sad.
I did go through with it bc I expect dealers to be scumbags so I don’t expect anything different at another dealer

It’s old now so will be looking at 4Runner, Passport and Pallisade next year.
Pass on the last one.
You’ll thank me later.

Thanks. I saw it and thought I’d give it a look because so many mid size/cross overs are just ugly. It will be a Toyota or Honda when I start looking.
