Teachers should not be able to have social media. Or at least have a rule that teachers and students can't follow each other.
It's not perfect because people can still create fake accounts, but it shouldn't be something that should be accepted.
If the teachers and students are able to interact on social media, that relationship becomes more equal which means the teacher becomes less of an authority figure. So not only do I think it should be against school policy for teachers and students to interact on social media, teachers should have to dress more professional. If teachers are dressing more casual that also makes them more of an equal to the students, which I don't think should be the goal.
