I don't know the real answer because I am not a theorist, but a quick google search says that depending on oxygen supply, jet fuel burns between 500 and 1700 degrees.
Ruth's Chris says they cook those awesome ribeyes at 1800 degrees and serve them on a 500 degree plate.
Mmmmm, Ribeyes.

Nevermind that the buildings were built 3 decades apart allowing for advance in technology and materials....but that's none of my business.

How come there was no alarm sprinkler system and bells going out to warn the people in Dubai to get the hell out!!!!
Somebody round up the Plaintiffs attorneys and get them on a jet pronto.

Wow! I was in Dubai last spring and went up to the top of the Burj Khaliffa. 148th floor.
That doesnt look like the Burj, but a near by skyscraper, all of which are about 50 stories. The Burj makes them look small.

Probably they just weren't properly hooked up to begin with. No need to go to a conspiracy here when simple incompetence and sloth are the likely culprits. I doubt very seriously that they have construction codes and inspection standards like we do here. And if they do, it's probably a corrupt system with plenty of opportunity to bribe your way out of doing something more expensive.
