But this is no different than someone sneaking into your driveway and getting access to your vehicle and cutting your brake lines, etc. Bluetooth, WiFi, 5G, et al. are all different technologies defined by IEEE 802. I digress...
I read he recently got a hearing aide and was hearing voices. Is there any chance that hearing aides can be hacked?

I don’t know what technology hearing aides have, but my damn toothbrush has Bluetooth technology. I imagine a hearing aide can connect to the internet, AI, and also be susceptible to hackers (Russians, Iranians, Chinese, rogue groups, etc).

I’m not for suicide but frick sometimes you just wish these people would do that first.

This afternoon police said they HAD CLEARED the are twice and then found him in that same time , the third time they checked it.
It wasn't that far from where his car was found, and it was at the business which had fired him recently.
This makes is sound like he could've calmly driven away in a police cruiser if he tried.

We were told about his issues after shooting, but apparently police were well informed as well. Not sure if he had been completely off the radar until shooting, but if not the cops really messed up ignoring his issues.

Police in Maine were alerted last month to “veiled threats” by the man who would go on to carry out the state’s deadliest mass shooting.

About the Maine mass shooter:
"..a statewide awareness alert was sent in mid-September to be on the lookout for Robert Card after the firearms instructor made threats against his base and fellow soldiers." But after stepped up patrols and a visit to his home police "moved on" LINK

Another law enforcement agency that came in contact with Card was the New York State Police, which on July 16 was called in West Point by commanders of the Army Reserve’s 3rd Battalion, 304th Infantry Regiment with concerns about Card’s erratic behavior and “threats to other members of his military unit” during a training exercise, according to a State Police document obtained by AP. State Police troopers took Card, a sergeant 1st class, to the Keller Army Community Hospital at West Point for what would be two weeks of mental health evaluation.
