I love my Old English bulldog. She loves people and she's been a good companion, especially with my wife away doing a travel nursing assignment.

It’s hard to take care of a dog when you live along and are constantly on the go or have a demanding job.

There’s plenty of dogs in shelters who would be much better off living in those circumstances than what they’re going through now

Just lost our lab of 10 years this past April. I haven't cried that hard at most peoples funerals. It's taken a while to move on, but we are finally about to get another lab. I for sure love dogs more than 99% of humans.

Golden Retrivers are the best. I smile every time I see one. Ive owned 3 but none right now.

Black Lab and German Shorthaired here. They roam fifty acres freely and it's a sight to see. My Lab likes to jump into the truck of the UPS driver and ride with him up the driveway
