Damn Horse. I saw you were going for the tests, but didn't see the results. Do they think the chemo is going to KO it, or did they give you any kind of time frame for the chemo?
Good luck, Baw.

What therapy is your doctor recommending?
First round was etopiside and cisplatin - that crap kicked me square in the arse, and I had to have 20 servings of it.

I named him Bill Parcells, Jr one night in the dorms, the name Tuna stuck and is pretty spot on.

Roger that. Both of those especially cisplatin have nasty side effects. I’m guessing a taxol will be next, not a doctor but been in pharma for 20 years. Prayers man an you got this.

Yep. It messed up my teeth, abdominal spasms, jittery hands, necrosis in the feet, tinnitus...
I can't wait for the next buffet of fun.

I hear you buddy. Life long friend of mine went to OLOL BR with stomach cramps and 3 months later the doc realized it was tc and was in his brain. He beat it as you will. He was on a clinical study out of Purdue. The drug was an oral, which I will get you the name of if you I would like. Let me set up a TD email as I am a long time Lurker, but know a lot of KOLa in oncology and very happy to drop them a line.

Horse, my Sis is going through the same issue with chemo, worried about her for sure. Seems to run in the fam with females.

Keep fighting, man. And it is a fight, despite the fact that some people don't like to call it that. Sometimes the treatments hurt us in hurting the cancer, but that's part of the battle.
