Seems like a gun law that needs changing huh

Yeah, because criminals in NOLA care so much about gun laws.

He’s a convicted felon, it’s an easy search. With that ignorant, hot temper, no one should be surprised.

For real. An earlier post in this thread called the dudes that were there with the chick out because they didn’t defend her and step up to the dude. Had they talked shite that dude 100% would have shot them.

Uptown is the only saving grace of New Orleans. The rest of the city is shite.

It would have been pretty funny if that policeman picked Byron up on something when he called the police there.

Excuse me.. he called the "commissioner"

Then he used the word commander

Fella has a problem with multisyllabic words

He would clearly fall into the category of a habitual offender, career criminal. He has a plethora of misdemeanor offenses as well, let alone the felonies that bar this scumbag from possessing a firearm.

Curious why the title doesn’t include the term “racism” since it was an obvious case of overt racism.

What are you curious about? Black racism, while rampant as frick, is never reported on or highlighted in “news” reports.

Where did you find those? I only saw the one incident on the OPP docket lookup?

Did BLM get permits to shut down the streets... or interstates? Or do the “Culture Bearers” of NOLA get permits for blocking St. Claude Ave on Sundays... or for second lines... or block parties?

His ability to carry a firearm was restricted for 2mo.

His ownership & carrying is completely LEGAL

He’s a convicted felon. Federally, he is barred from legally owning and possessing a firearm.

Byron's IG has been strangely quiet the last day or so. I hope someone finally knocked him out of his house slippers.

For Nola.com's article on the confrontation, pseudo-journalist Doug McCash takes Bryon Cole's claims of being a private investigator (and so therefore legally able to carry a gun) at face value -- I didn't see Cole listed in the state database of licensed investigators. Moreover, why did the newspaper choose to run a photo of Cole standing on his doorstep with his holstered gun in his waistband, clearly visible. More media glorification and double standards regarding guns, misogyny, and black-on-white crime.
