Walking around asking why safety features don't exist is fallacious. It makes more sense, economically, to point at existing safety features and question what value they actually have.

Good question. My car said "your cell phone is still in the vehicle" if I have it plugged in and turn the car off and open the door. Why can't the cars say "the gas pump is still in the car you fricking idiot!"
