Many times they die choking on the bag they swallow. Often, they don't have time to get it out of the bag , they just swallow the entire bag (usually powder and marijuana), it's easier for them to get crack out in a heartbeat.

A drug is a drug. It would've been no different if he drank himself to death as opposed to coke overdose. He was doing something that was hurting nobody and we still have a problem with that.
