Lawn mower joyride
quote:

CUT OFF - A man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught riding a lawnmower on the shoulder of a highway while drunk.

quote:

Deputies say Cheramine admitted to drinking several beers before hopping on the piece of equipment. A breathalyzer test showed he had a blood-alcohol level of .144 percent.

2nd DWI, doesn’t indicate if the previous offense was lawn-mower related or not.

Ive seen articles about this happening before. The other one that comes to mind was in some small town, and the lawnmower/driver were in a neighborhood. Not on a major highway.

I think it's shitty that you can lose your car driving privileges for something done on a lawnmower. or a kayak. or a horse.

.14?

That's barely "have to get an Uber" territory, let alone "frick it, I'll take the lawnmower" time

.144 seems pretty tame for a riding mower DWI. I would expect a .2 or higher. That guy looks like he gets out of bed in the a.m. blowing a .08.

As long as it doesn't have a motor, it's perfectly legal to drink beer while kayaking here in Texas.

Same as a horse. It’s an animal with a mind of its own and is not motorized.

not here in louisiana. the law just states that you can't be operating a vessel at over .08. i think there is some gray area but yeah....you should lose your boating privileges not your driving

You won’t get a DUI but there is a gray area around riding a bike drunk in Texas. Unlike some places where it’s just illegal, in Texas they will just hammer you if you get in a accident that damages something other than yourself and your bike.

The best one has to be the guy in Minnesota that took the seat of his riding mower and mounted a la z boy. Got popped in his recliner coming home from the bar and blew a .30 or some absurd number

That is how things should work. I mean you should even be allowed to drive drunk but if you hurt someone while doing it then they should lock you up and throw away the key. If you kill them death penalty.

What a monster, that’s nearly twice the legal limit which is half a coors light or using mouthwash
