This is exactly what we did several years back. A very solid plan.

go to Mamou baw! Listen to the others about following the run and ending with the street dance. Eunice is a bit watered down as is CP which was Sunday. Go to Freds for sure.

Mamou is the only original traditional Mardi Gras run left on the planet. The Captains barely drink. Insane amount of horse, trailers, ppl on foot.

Had a great time! Headed out there a little later than expected and caught the Mamou runners on their boudin stop. Headed on into town for some dancing and drinking at Fred's

Next year we'll go the day before to party over at Holiday and kick off much earlier in the morning. 'preciate everyone's advice on here.
