I had planned to make it out to the Mamou early tomorrow a.m. and just realized I don't know the difference between the courirs in Mamou vs. Tee Mamou vs. Eunice and if one is more popular than the others.

I figured I would head to Fred's around 8 a.m. since I don't know what else to do--but does anyone recommending heading somewhere or doing something different? My family is originally from Couteau but I've never experienced a traditional Mardi Gras and would like to. Thanks for any advice!

Tee Mamou is ladies only. Still would be cool to spectate, just no participating.

You could try and catch Faquetigue on their route. The chicken on pole boudin stop would be a great location.
