They can be pricey. Bath and Body Works usually runs specials on them 6/$24. Sometimes they will run even better sales and have them for over 50% off. That's when I stock up on them. I just did this, we are set for the next 6 months if not the rest of the year
I have various scents for different parts of the home. Sweeter scents for the kitchen(like pumpkin cupcakes or vanilla cupcake); cleaner scents for living room(I usually do seasonal ones depending on the time of year). I have more "masculine" smelling ones for my husband's bathroom and his office. Calming, soothing scents for our bedroom. And the super girly ones for my bathroom.
The ones you buy in the grocery store aren't horrible(they are much cheaper). I've just found that the wallflowers work better and they offer a much wider variety if scents to use. The refill bulbs usually last about a month or so.
