Because he trusted his wife, not the surpent. Why did the surpent approach Eve instead of Adam? It wasn’t a random decision.

Plus, you have to give him the benefit of the doubt since she was the first woman and there was no track record on decision making.

its funny.....go ask the guy at the gas station at 445am in august if they wish they wouldnt have been the class clown and could work in an office all day making 2x as much. I promise 99% would take that deal in a heart beat

This is the truth. Our son has had a few manual labor type jobs throughout high school, and his co-workers are constantly telling him to make sure he gets an education so he doesn't wind up like them.

Spending all day hauling stuff outside or doing landscaping in the Louisiana summer makes school seem like a cake walk.

Adam was supposed to take care of Eve, he was put in charge - of everything - he should’ve been watching her

Which is why it’s his sin.

so i will agree i dont like the direction the school is heading with the demographics at 25% but lets not act like you cant go to LSU, go into stem, join a frat or Sorority and have a normal southern SEC school experience and completely anti ghetto experience.

so what does she plan to major in and how does she plan to pay for this?
if neither of her parents have college degrees and checks off the Latina box, she can probably go for free - I forget the name of the scholarship program

I didn’t say you can’t have a normal college experience - I just don’t like the ghetto-ness - my oldest graduated summa cum laude from LSU in May in engineering and is making pretty good for a recent grad

I have two more at LSU - they are also STEM majors - but they didn’t want to buy friends & join a frat, but you can’t ignore the constant ghetto in your face - and maybe that’s why they didn’t want to join a fraternity because they want to spend the least time on campus as possible he

I don’t think my younger 3 will go to LSU. My 4th child is a sophomore in high school and I will probably direct him elsewhere.

Sorry. Yeah, she wouldnt have to pay.

She's destined to be a lawyer, regardless of her major. She's just built that way.

well, my kids are 1/4 Hispanic - so I looked into lots of those types of scholarships

But the husband and I have college degrees, so my kids didn’t qualify for like 90% of those types of scholarships

They had to get them the old fashioned way especially since we don’t even have a Hispanic name

“Sending” someone as opposed to it being someone you have multiple interaction with a week is not semantics

You just made it up

yea my oldest is only a freshman and I dont know where I will help him go to.

but in general you absolutely can get away from ghetto behavior. not that hard.

are you going to have to be around some undesirables but every black on campus isnt ghetto trash. over 40% of blacks are gone after 2 years so most of the ghetto is gone quickly.

the amount of ghetto one will see while majoring in engineering is minimum.

the amount of ghetto you will see being in Greek life is minimal also

and im not saying i would want my kids to go there. A lot of factors that play into it but LSU can still provide a great college experience and a great degree with great job prospects if you want to live in LA or Texas.

Other schools can give parts of that, but LSU is really the only school in the state that can provide all options.

now i would prolly prefer my kids go out of state all things being equal money wise so that they have a new experience. I finished at McNeese and certainly want them to get out of LC and experience life but also not going to go crazy on the debt either no matter where it is and you have to look at overall ROI.

My on campus experience was rather at the fraternity house of park in the lot in front of the business college and walk in. I NEVER saw any of that ghetto shite

when you major in things that are hard...tends to limit the amount you see

funny how that works

you don’t know what you are talking about when it comes to this

You really don’t, and I know you will try to argue but I live in the city of BR - three kids at LSU (well, one recent grad) - and it is HARD to get away from the constant minority pushing.

My family is not the type for Greek life - so I cannot speak for that. I told my kids they could rush but they didn’t want to.

we have gone to many, many engineering/STEM presentations the past 5 years at LSU and not one white boy gave a talk - not saying it was ‘ghetto’ but it was borderline and very DEI
