I;ll be honest. The other grandkids I probably would not steer that way.
She's different. Very strong willed and strong minded and more of a leader than follower.
I have no doubt that she's being targeted due to the fact that she is part Latino, her and I have had this conversation and she thinks its wrong. But it is what it is.
I do have concerns that less than scrupulous activists will try hard to convert her.

Its more than recruiting info, and some of it I' a bit leery of because of the demographic thing. But I have to trust her.

Harvard only sends out generalized recruiting information based on test scores. They don’t “target” normal students, the only personalized recruiting information they send is if you may do an extracurricular.

She's had a lot of exposure to a lot of different types of kids through her travels and academic work. But yes, its a different breed there and I do worry about compatibility.
But her circle of friends are kids who are attending these Eastern schools as well. Her debate partner went to Yale.
